Member’s Homepage

Project Summary

This project was a collaborative effort to update the Member’s Homepage to highlight key features and services of the LawDepot platform through improved navigation and strategic callouts.

User testing showed the new design (option N) was preferred by 67% of users, rated significantly higher in trust (83%), and led to faster task completion—users upgraded and initiated eSign sessions twice as quickly.

Opportunity

User research revealed an untapped opportunity to reinforce trust and credibility at a key point in the user journey. By introducing a subtle, trust-based tagline into the site header, we could build user confidence and differentiate from competitors with minimal UX disruption.

Goals

How will we measure success?

  • Improve navigation to features/documents
  • Reduce page drop-off
  • Increase user engagement with the homepage
  • Increase subscription upgrades
  • Increase user’s understanding of LawDepot

Results

The introduction of the new Member’s Homepage led to an increase in sales, resulting in a six-figure lift in revenue.

Reflection & Next Steps

This project showed that early results not meeting targets doesn't mean the design is off track. It can signal the need for iteration. By applying user feedback before moving to A/B testing, we improved the design, increased confidence in the direction, and set the stage for stronger performance. This approach helped us avoid prematurely dropping the project, ultimately saving time and resources.
